Timothy Walter Burton is one of the best director, producer and writer of films in the world. He is very famous because of his films which are characterized by the presence of fantastic worlds with gothic and dark elements.
He was born in Burbank, California (USA), on 25th August, 1958. During his childhood he did a lot of representations of parodies relationated with bloody crimes. He was very inspired by the writer Edgar Allan Poe.
His first short film was at the age of 13, it was called The Island of Doctor Agor.
When he had finished his studies on baccalaureate, he strated the univerity in the art institute of California. Then he worked for Walt Disney and finally he created his own studio.
So he is considered one of the best directors and he had made very good films, for this reason Burton has been nominated to a lot of Oscars.
