AN OPINION ESSAY, Is it fair the society we live in?

Our society nowadays is very diverse and complex. Every day and as years pass by, there are more and more people, more injustice, unfairness, and less equality. People only look for themselves and make sure their own interests are secured and accomplished. The fact that there is such a large number of people, makes things a little more complicated.

First and as we all know, we have a divided society, a classified society which separates people by their education and by their abilities and mostly by their standard of living. While to other people’s view it may be considered a good thing as adapted measures to each division is applied, to me, dividing and classifying people doesn’t help integrate ourselves into living united and learning how to help each other. Also, it doesn’t help those people with difficulties adapt themselves either.

Finally, it seems to me that people on higher society hierarchy don’t really care about poorer people, and the unfairness is very stablished in this point of view. How could someone have money and live happily knowing that thousands of children, women and men, are dying maybe of hunger or that they are illiterate?

It is clear that there is a problem in our society and citizens should stand up for helping others, should get involved in good causes for everyone’s sake.
