I am writing to enquire about the position of trainee chef in Buonatavola Restaurant as advertised in the newspaper. 

As you can see from my CV, I have recently completed a course in Italian dishes at Fiona's College and I enclose references. I believe I would be suitable for the job, as I've got excellent communication skills and I'm good at working under pressure. Then, I speak English and French.
