HOW USEFUL ARE GUIDEBOOKS TO TRAVELLERS TODAY?

Currently, travellers don't use guidebooks due to people search a route with GPS on the phone or tablet.

I wouldn't think that guidebooks will be useless. However, there is not the same demand in consequence of the technology evolution, so this phenomenon doesn't mean that guidebooks will disappear. What's more, a lot of travellers prefer to travel with a guidebook to learn in first-hand culture and history.

Although, they haven't got the same use but travellers prefer GPS. 

To sum up, the guidebookss have lost a lot importance because there are GPS in the mobile phones.
